The Noritake Museum Collection

These items, offered for sale by the Noritake Museum in Nagoya, Japan, were made available to members of the Noritake Collectors' Society in 1998. Each piece is marked "Noritake Museum Collection" and is slightly smaller in scale that the 1921 - 1942 piece it honors. Additionally, the designs are decals, not hand-painted, and the quality of the porcelain, thought very fine, is substantially different from the originals. Therefore, there is little chance for these items to be passed on as authentic.
